SUMMARY
Saddest lad alive, but mostly because of the insane amount of trauma he's experienced. Somehow relatively well adjusted despite this, or at least enough to canonically be the smartest one in a room of wholeass adults during his series. And also pick up skills like flying helicopters from reading a book- damn, what a genius.

Honestly really sweet and kind, tends to have a weird tolerance for horrible people though, and a weirder scale of what bad and good are. Easily nervous, really awkward, but if you push him too much WATCH OUT!!!

Currently in Hell, Emporio resides at the hotel with a bare-minimum customized room. He keeps an angelic cat there, and spends a lot of time helping out at the Hell-swamp's Radio Station, or running errands per his current 'accords'. He's even got his own radio segment- 'Everyone's Talking, No One's Talking', where he talks about one hot gossip point and then one neat thing no one asked to hear that you Will listen to.

ABILITIES - PERMANENT WAVES
A former ability earned through Accordance with Alastor, before the demon left for home he took the time to perform a blood ritual with Emporio so that he could retain some of the ability himself.

Appearing as a little shadow-Emporio with antlers and a toothy grin, Permanent Waves allows him to teleport to limited extent through the shadows themselves. As their own entity as well, they act according to Emporio's will, and can spy for him or communicate to him when walls would otherwise inhibit that.

They're bound to a small tine of antler worn around Emporio's neck, and sound like a more staticy, peppy version of himself with a 1920's radio persona twang. Helpful for acting as a voice to bounce off during radio shows.

ABILITIES - BURNING DOWN THE HOUSE
Emporio's Stand in the series is known as Burning Down the House; it doesn't manifest as anything but 'a thing Emporio can do', and the in-universe explanation is condensed to this video here. It is 'locationaly nerfed', as noted below.

That said, the gist is as follows; the world has a 'memory', so when a building gets destroyed, the memory of what used to be there remains behind. Build something over that spot, and you get a 'ghost' building as a result- there's plenty in Hell, but none in Heaven. Only Emporio can initially find a Ghost Room, but once it's found, he can show others the entrance, and people can find it by watching others enter. While anyone can handle Ghost Objects too, only Emporio can actually manipulate them- in his hands, they're easily condensed and squashed into small spaces.

In any case, Ghost Objects/Rooms have a set of standard rules.

  • 'Ghosts' are temporally locked; they cannot be destroyed, turned off, or powered on- a CPU that was running will always have power, but a sink won't be able to run water. A ghost location's moment of time will always be the moment it was 'destroyed'.
  • 'Ghosts' cannot harm anything of 'existing time'; ghost knives and bullets will not cause damage to another in other words. This applies even to flames from a ghost lighter. However, a ghost gun can fire a normal bullet, and cause harm through this.
  • Likewise, 'Ghosts' cannot be consumed; however, as taste is a state of being, they can be tasted, smelled, and even felt.
  • As a bonus, due to the nature of Hell's architecture, there may be 'souls' of the damned in these rooms. Ghosts of Ghosts??
  • ABILITIES - [MAJOR SERIES SPOILERS: OPEN AT OWN RISK]
    Due to the events of the final episode in Stone Ocean, Emporio acquired a second Stand- that of 'Weather Report', which formerly belonged to a character by the same name. In Emporio's possession, it acts the same as it did for their former partner. In Hell (and Heaven, and the Garden...), Weather is somewhat nerfed; see below.

    Weather Report is a manifesting, sentient Stand, whose will is incredibly protective toward their user. Their image is located here, and they appear to form themselves out of clouds. As a Stand of this kind, he's capable of floating, as well as basic combat.

    The core power of this Stand however is that of absolute control over the weather and its contents. Having been nerfed, this power extends only over the range of a single room- though after effects such as frogs from 'a rain of frogs' can leave this range of their own power. Provided there is precedent, all forms of weather apply- IE, a rain of flames, locusts, blood.

    More flexibly, Weather Report has been used to manipulate the air with such precision that protective breathing suits have been made, ice has been formed to jam guns, water has been used to overflow objects, and in Emporio's case specifically, the air's molecular content has in itself been altered. For this reason, please refer to Emporio's Permissions and Opt-In/Out if there is anything that needs to be avoided. Beyond this, it will always be the player's call as to how heavily Weather Report affects them.
