I'm not saying that I don't want to be prepared, just I don't think a limit needs to be set considering we're all monsters here. The limit will probably be different depending on who is doing the thing anyway.

That was the point.

If you're telling people in advance, you can tell each one what you don't want them doing.

Not even just to avoid getting hurt- if something they might try could just make things worse, you can warn them off.

But if I'm already hurting people, then they should have the right to hurt me back.

I'd deserve it.

All that aside I'm not even talking about pure pain.

If you're emotionally dead what made you message then.

Emotionally dead means not feeling any emotion at all, you know.

And because for something to actually work it needs to be able to offer something better than whatever you retreated to- otherwise it's more likely to have the opposite effect.

Let's try looking at this another way.

Why do you think you end up sucked into things that hard in the first place?
